- Severn Valley League is ‘friendlies only’, possibly through to end of May.
- Definite 30th June end for all Youth Leagues, at the latest
- Some weekends there will be ‘Lateral Flow Covid Testing’ in the car Park on Saturdays – be aware of potential parking congestion.
- Training for youth, for THIS season only, will be Wednesdays, for April and May
Spike (Adult)
- Adult training Tuesdays and/or Thursdays
- HUGE personal ‘Thank You’ for all the good wishes during his recent COVID scare – he’s still taking things steady and awaiting a scan to see if there was any permanent lung damage, so he remains ‘at risk’.
- Stroud League – season is ‘null and void’, friendlies only from 29th March. Make ALL aware that bookings and sendings off are still submitted to Glos FA for friendlies, unless agreed with referee beforehand that ‘subbing off’ may be an alternative to a caution.
- Glos Northern Senior League – Reg Davis Cup only, fixtures include matches v Bredon 3rd April, v Lakeside on 19th April, and then Wednesday evenings through to 12th May.
- Last Home fixture for ALL TEAMS is 12th May (2nds home v Chelt Civil Service)
- Hellenic League are running mini leagues through to 12th May, regional basis, then semi-finals and finals on neutral grounds
- All unused kits are being passed to a person who is sending kits to needy people in Ghana.
Finance - Steve R
- c.£6K remaining – full breakdown via SR – we should be sustainable, as a Club, through to September at least
- Football Federation grant has had a huge positive impact.
- players’ debts are still similar to last month, although some pleasing progress; positive response from Managers, who will look to implement a ‘no pay, play’ policy for heavy debtors.
- End of year financing means all Invoices for paying MUST be with SR by 31st March.
COVID Ian Neville
- Awaiting FA and Glos FA formal responses
- Any issues please keep IN posted – as soon as season re-commencement is underway, we need to review our checks and balances at the Ground and at training / matches.
Pitch and Ground – Pinner and Fletch
- All proposed ground and pitch improvements to go through Pinner and Fletch before putting to Committee.
- Fletch has arranged breakdown of potential pitch and ground improvement costs, such as scarifying, vertidraining, ‘weed n feed’, etc – awaiting quotes from Mowtech (Ian)
- Main Pitch will NOT be used for football after 12th May, through till 17th July (1st team friendly)
- ‘Thank you’ to Pinner for a lot of hard work cutting and ‘grooming’, and to Dan S for arranging a delivery of planings.
- ALL proposed HOME friendlies to 12th May must be approved by one of Fletch / Pinner.
- £1500 for Main Pitch improvements endorsed by Committee (Raised by Fletch, Seconded by IN)
- Targeted improvements include re-doing pathway /approach to Ground, improving disabled access to Mike Smith Stand – will need volunteers, especially construction-savvy ones, to implement.
